the Prison

Lifelong best friends, Izzy and Bela, are finally bringing their dreams into reality. Having procured the historic prison on the Town Square and converting it into a coffee-wine bar bookstore, the years they’ve spent working toward this moment seem worthwhile as their future lies hopeful before them… until the Town Square is hit with a crime spree. 

As the break-ins increase, so does the threat of success to their new venture. When the thefts evolve into murder, despite the increased police presence, Izzy and Bela begin to doubt their ability to trust the police and possibly their fellow merchants. As the Prison becomes a larger target and their circle of trust grows smaller, Izzy and Bela decide to forge their own investigation in an attempt to keep their dream alive, but at what cost?

the Womb

Isolated in the Texas heat, the Womb pulses and thrives, creating a life of its own. Wanderers drift in and out while squatters rest. The canvas walls provide the inhabitants freedom from inhibition and judgement, creating the opportunity for them to lose themselves or to be found. Yet freedom doesn’t come without a cost. Concealed in the safety of unconstraint, something nefarious begins to take root and spread within the Womb. Past sins from the outside world creep in, bringing fear and jealousy with them. The lives of seven people that have become desperately entangled begin to conflict and splinter. Between the growing darkness and the fractured relationships, a delicate balance emerges, threatening not only the existence of the Womb but the lives of those seeking refuge there.
